Next time on Third Eye Cinema: the lovely Dianne Van Giersbergen joins us to talk a new renaissance in gothic metal!
Coming to the attention of metal fans as a founding member of experimental progressive act Ex Libris, she now brings her operatically dramatic lyric, nigh-bel canto soprano tones to bear in conjunction with a longstanding gothic metal act whose sound has taken a decided turn for the better!
With their recent Sacrificium building and improving upon 2012’s already impressive Neverworld’s End, they join a growing number of veteran acts such as Leaves Eyes and Delain whose latest releases spearhead what’s looking to be a long awaited revitalization of the scene, hearkening back to it’s early to mid millenial heyday!
Please do join us as we speak to a leading light in the restoration of the gothic symphonic metal scene to its former glories, the lovely and talented Dianne Van Giersbergen, only here on Third Eye Cinema!
